These groups reflect the interests of our members. An updated list will be provided soon.
Morning Book Clubs – meet on the 3rd Thursday morning each month from September to June. Books are chosen from all genres – both fiction and non-fiction, contemporary, historical and classics. We always include a number of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Canadian authors.
Tuesday Afternoon Book Club – meets the fourth Tuesday of each month. Each member offers one or more books to be read by the group.
Murder ‘n’ Mayhem Book Club – meets the 2nd Wednesday evening each month from September to June. We discuss selected books from a variety of mystery authors, both contemporary and historical, representing a mix of all mystery sub-genres.
Cosies and Classics Mystery Book Club – meets the 1st Friday morning each month. We discuss selected classic or cosy mysteries.
Dining Out Group – meets on the 1st Wednesday evening each month, at various local restaurants.
Bridge Groups – Four bridge groups meet regularly. Additional bridge groups may be formed if members are interested.
Women on Tap – Gentle Tap Dancing instruction, given by a professional dance teacher.. This group meets every Monday morning, from September to May, at a local dance studio for dancing enjoyment.
Walking Group – meets at 9:30 am every week-day year round for an enjoyable 40 – 60 minute walk.
